The song "Love Bomb" by a group called NERD is sort of strange song tht has a very good message. I like the song because when u first hear the song the beat is simple and and it really catches ur attention. The message in the song (being "love bomb") is generally speaking of of hw the world today is soo full of hate and anger tht, someone (rather it be person a person or country ect.) would need to drop a bomb tht speads love all across the world. It also talks about hw the government feeds us B.S. and lies to us believe what ever they want, and tht we as a people shouldnt stand for anything, and fall for everything. The chorus of the song talks about hw the bomb would be so bright and powerful tht would turn the night into day and it could be heard frm anywhere.
In this case i feel tht the "hw" as well as the "what" play very big roles in the way the song is precieved and also what the song is about. The slow pace at the begining of the song helps to create pictures in ur mind of the things talked about. The while the chorus picks up the beat gets intense and somewhat serious as though as it were a cry for help. This lets yu kno tht something needs to be done and we need to gt ur attention as quickly as possible. Th words in the song, as I stated before seem to provide a message within the message of the actual song. This is why I feel tht "Love Bomb" by NERD is a great example of a message through song, as far as the "hw" vs. the "wht" in a song

  1. Good job engaging with the assignment, Autumn. Good song, too (I'd never heard it before...impressive).
