'Errors' In-Class Assignment - Joe

1) I believe what he's talking about, is the reference to using rules as a guideline when it comes to writing, but we can make exception out of those rules. In other words, we can 'break the rules'.

2) That everyone's interpretation of an 'error' is different from one another, based on one's writing style and approach.

3) He looks at errors through the writer's perspective, but then thinks about the readers themselves who look at the paper, and what they think is correct, and what isn't

4) Because he's trying to prove a point through the writers who developed those rules, and counteracting of what they suggest, by looking at an example of them breaking their own guidelines.

  1. Generally, I'd like you to form/join a "group" of more than 1 for these assignments, Joe : )
