Something recent
I song i recently heard probably a week ago I've actually grown to like more and more, I've heard this song once before in a DMX rap video which was just a rap remix at least in the chorus of this song. The song title is called "Ain't no sunshine" it was written by Bill Withers and is sung as a semi slow song. However the version I'm speaking on is actually a remix by a guy who's name i can't really remember however there is a video of his remix on YouTube. Basically it has a more jazzy feel to it and more instruments as well as a string guitar that plays which is pretty catchy. The reason I've come to like this song honestly is because of a recent comerical that has used it which sort of re sparked my interest in the song. The commercial that has used this song recently is for a video game called "Dante's inferno" basically the commercial involves a man chasing after his woman and literally jumping into the pits of hell to get her. all the while this song plays a remix of this slow song "ain't no sunshine" the lyrics and everything make perfect sense to this action packed commercial and it really got me thinking about some ideas of scripts I've been working on, attempting to flesh out solid action scenes to submit to a writing contest. Just listening to this song creates images of actions sequences that involve struggle and pain which in action/drama script writing is pure gold. So i guess that's my song of choice for this blog.

I've seen that commercial...thought the tune was a very cool take on the original.
