Tupac DEAR MAMA

A song that always stayed close to my heart and always make me think about the special moments in my life is dear mama by tupac. the reason the song really catches my attention because it makes me think about my mom and all the struggle she has been threw raising me as a single parent. over the years i have really came to see that my mom is a very strong independent woman. Through the hardest times in our life she held on strong and got us out of any situation. When hearing this song, it makes me want to go to my mom and thank her for everything because without her , i would not be at kent right now. i probably would be in jail or still on the streets. without her i dont think i would have stayed focus in school and in football and earned my scholarship to kent. When being young i thought my mom just use to scream and fuss but now i realize that she really care about me and loves me dearly. In the song tupac expresses his love for his mom and the things she did to raise them and i feel that i can relate to this song a lot. By my mom being my inspiration, i feel that i can overcome any trials and tribulations because i have seen her do it.. this song is a song that really matters to me because its very deep and touching. without my mom i wouldnt be the man i am becoming today.
