Whats cool?

I think that this episode is based on things being cool, not people being cool. Homer even said in the begining of the episode that he has not changed, yet he is no longer cool because whats cool has changed. I think this is probably how it is for everyone. I think when we get to be in our 40's and 50's, we probably aren't going to seem like were cool to our kids. I believe that when people are trying to be "cool" theyre just conforming to whatever the media portrays as "cool". This episode relates directly to Malcom Gladwells quote because he is talking about how people have to change to be cool so its actually impossble to be cool because youre really not being yourself.
