Uncool

I feel like the episode was more concerned with being cool by doing cool things, not exaclty by being cool yourself. Homer was only cool because of what he was doing, not by actually being himself. He wanted to relieve the feeling he had when he was younger and he believed he was cool, leading him down this path that led him to do and perform the actions that he performed. He did it so he would be seen nas being cool in the eyes of his kids and in the end still didn't receive his wish. The question is that if everyone knows whose cool and whose not, how do we become cool and if it takes more work being cool, do we want to be cool?
