Cyberspace as Place

Personally the internet is not a virtual world, or a place to stay. I mean yes it connects lots of people together via the internet. The people that you are in this "virtual world" with are at a computer at their house. They are not in the same place as you, but they might be in the same chat room. Facebook like Twitter and all the other means of internet discussion are just that. They are just a place where I can post what i want to do for the day, and someone else will post back and let me know that they want to do the say thing. The internet is just another means of communication, in other words it is not another world, its like your cell phone. If you need to talk or send someone a message you can pick up your cell phone and do that. It is not like you are in the same place as the person you are calling or sending the message to. You are still in one place while the person you are trying to reach is still in another. It is as simple as that.
