Obama's edits

I think that Obama edited the speech the way he did because it he wanted to bring out the point of the speech, social security and medicare. His editing in a way makes you feel like he has the same problems as everyday people, even though we all know he doesn't. He is trying to make it seem like the government has a very warm heart and wants to help out people as best as it can, even though it was pointed out at the end of the speech that the government only helps out when it HAS to, not when it should.
