Obama changed somethings to add more detail and so that people knew what he was talking about. Instead of he, he put the name teddy in place. He thought that doing it this way would make more sense. Changing the words did make more sense and was easier to understand and read. He also added things to the speech not much just a little at the end of a paragraph every now and then. He wanted to add more to the sentence to put detail so everyone knew what the speech was talking about. He also added a few sentences here and there to add detail. Like he added details about his friends that knew stuff about him and wrote that it was basically true about him that he knew what actually drove him and that it was true there was something more.
